Bruce witnesses the tragic event as his parents are killed, but the attack triggers his Kryptonian powers, causing him to accidentally burn the criminal with his heat vision. Following the death of his parents, Bruce isolates himself in Wayne Manor, harboring a strong aversion to violence. However, when a group of robbers breaks into his home, Bruce decides to confront the world with a new persona—the Batman.
