However, everything changed when his powers were activated, making him the sole superhuman on his world. Tragically, his planet was later destroyed in the Crisis on Infinite Earths, which led to his descent into madness. This eventually resulted in a confrontation with the Super Heroes of the main DC universe during the Infinite Crisis event. Despite putting up a valiant fight, Superboy-Prime was ultimately defeated and imprisoned in the Source Wall, a barrier that surrounds the universe. He later managed to break free when the wall was destroyed years later. However, when another crisis loomed over all of reality, Superboy-Prime had a redemption arc and ultimately played a vital role in saving the DC Multiverse.
